The pie charts illustrate the percentage growth in different sectors in India from the year 2010 to 2020.
It is evident from the graph that the sectors which boosted their growth within a period of 10 years are- Building, from a mere 4% to a larger 11% ; Hospitality, jumping from 8% to a major 12% followed by Education and Trade which haven’t gained more than a 1 or 2%. Besides, the sector which has remained unchanged is the Finance sector having a fixed contribution of 18%. Moreover, there are sectors which have plummeted in their growth namely- the agriculture sector, from 25% to 12% and the Production sector which experienced a deficit of not more than 1%.
Overall, it can be said that not all the sectors have grown equally; While some have faced a slump in their contribution by a major or minor percent, others have skyrocketed in their fields. In addition, while the agriculture sector was the prime contributor in 2010, it shifted to the Education sector holding the top-most position 2020.
