Is there any change in class 10 NCERT books?
Yes, there is a major change in 2023-24 in the class 10 syllabus for all subjects. Specifically, regarding English, CBSE has introduced a new set of books in addition to the previous books –
First Flight
The Footprints without Feet.
This means CBSE has given two options with 2 sets of books for class 10th students studying in CBSE-affiliated schools.
Schools can opt-in for any one set.
According to our sources, some schools have chosen to stick with the books they were previously using. For example, Delhi Public School (DPS) has decided to continue teaching with First Flight and Footprints Without Feet.
On the other hand, Sachdeva Public School in Rohini, Delhi has taken the initiative to adopt the different set of books.
Communicative English:
Literature Reader – Interact in English
Main Course Book – Interact in English
Accordingly, the board paper will also be set in 2 formats for both the set of books.
New Syllabus for CBSE class 10 2023-24
Students who are going to appear for class 10th board exams in 2023-24 will face a change in their syllabus. The syllabus has been revised for all subjects. But, here at essayshout, we will discuss only English subject.
